As a fan of banda music, BANDA MS has got to be in the top echelon of groups. The longevity of their prime years, the diehard fanatics, the fashion, the artistry; BANDA MS checks off every box and attending one of their concerts leaves nothing left to be desired.

From start to finish, their appearance at the Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas was hit after hit. The amazing outfits in the crowd, the beautiful graphics displayed on the screens, the perfectly coordinated air cannons and confetti blasters matched to the lights, the special appearances, and the jivin’ with the fans, everything was set to the perfected atmosphere of BANDA MS’s biggest hits.

As soon as the lights came down, the arena erupted as a history of hits was displayed on the screens, highlighting their most popular songs throughout the years, coming to an end with BANDA MS entering the stage and getting straight into the groove without any delay and a medley thrown in as well. In between songs, the members of the band would interact with the fans from the stage, posing and waving at individuals for pictures while lead vocalists Alan and Oswaldo spoke to the attendees, at one point Alan even grabbing a fan’s phone and recording a video while performing on stage. That fan definitely left with an Hermosa Experiencia with an insane video for their socials.

Seeing as how BANDA MS hails from México and they love to drink, it was no surprise when Alan asked the crowd if they are getting drunk and stating he would do the same if only he had a bottle in his outstretched, open hand. At that very moment, one of the other band members magically appears with a bottle to which Alan quickly quartered. Not to be outdone, other members also downed a bottle throughout the performances.

During their song “El César Del Box” Julio César Chávez is brought on stage onto a golden throne while the band played homage to the illustrious boxer. In the middle of the song, Oswaldo and Alan bring the decorated champion down to the front of the stage and don him with one of his many boxing belts and a Mexican flag while he gives a speech to the crowd stating that the belt no longer belongs to him, stating it belongs to BANDA MS now for creating a song that not only expresses who he is as a boxer but who he is as a human being and that BANDA MS is a champion to all of Mexico.

Another special appearance was made by an anthropomorphic Muppet-style dog in the likeness of SNOOP DOGG for their collaboration song “Qué Maldición” with some slick new guitar riffs and drum rolls. This was a fan favorite for the unexpectedness of having a stand-in like that for SNOOP DOGG while they played a banger of a hit with stylized graphics on the screens.

The final special appearance was El Mariachi Internacional CHG de Gamaliel Contreras Huerta. The ensemble gave the instrumentalists of BANDA MS a break while they took over the stage and performed a handful of songs with the vocalists. After a few songs, the band returned and continued a cohesive performance with Mariachi CHG to finish out the night.
