Remember Warped Tour? Ever think what it would have sounded like in Spanish? Pop, punk, rock, with these genres combined… BELANOVA has the POWER to give you that sound.
The Latin Grammy Award winning electropop-punk trio made a stop at the Arizona Financial Theatre in our own little Phoenix, Arizona on their Vida En Rosa Tour. Twelve years after their last tour, they were back at it without skipping a beat. BELANOVA lead Denisse Guerrero encouraged attendees to dress in the tour’s theme of ‘Life In Pink’ and they did not disappoint. Looking into the crowd was like staring into a kaleidoscope of different shades of pink; every other attendee was breathing fresh, blushing life into the venue through their outfits.
Not only were they playing like a blast from the past with some of their biggest hits like “Cada Que”, “Por Ti”, and “Baila Mi Corazón,” but a cover of SELENA’s “Como La Flor” was sprung on the audience like a rose bursting into bloom. There was an inkling of the song before the lyrics began, but maybe everyone was in a "sweet fantasy" thinking it was too good to be true.
With high energy songs like “One, Two, Three, Go!” and songs that gave a moment to simmer down like “Toma Mi Mano,” this tour is bringing the atmosphere of a rose; the softness of the petals, the beautiful complexities of their structure, and the hard hitting pricks of the thorns.
