Ukrainian-born DJ Isabelle Rezazadeh, better known by her stage name REZZ, has been making waves in the electronic music scene since 2015. Her first release, “Insurrection", granted her access to the deadmau5-fronted label Mau5trap, as well as a collaboration under the joint name REZZMAU5. Most recently, REZZ has taken a step back to her more hypnotic trance-like tracks on her fourth studio album “Can You See Me?.” Including some incredible features from artists such as Subtronics, Digital Ethos, and-of course-deadmau5 on the album, REZZ made sure the tour would be just as jam-packed, bringing Troyboi, Rusko, Holly, and Digital Ethos along with her for the Phoenix stop.

Though the audience was already enthralled by the opening sets, their energy became palpable when the visualizers switched to a feed of static moments ahead of REZZ taking the stage to lull the crowd into a trance, only to then sonically pummel them back into consciousness. Making sure to please as much of the huge crowd as possible, she played a healthy rotation of new and old tracks, instead of having too heavy of a focus on just the newer ones that everybody may not know. At one point, she even slipped into a remix of Disturbed’s “Down With The Sickness" before wrapping up the generous set with some crowd favorites to bring the energy back up one last time before pulling the plug on the night.

As highly anticipated as the release and tour was, Phoenix was only one of a small handful of stops on REZZ’s headline tour, with her next stops being May 4th at the Brooklyn Mirage in New York, and her sixth Red Rocks set dubbed REZZROCKS on August 30th. Due to the REZZROCKS event almost immediately selling out, a second show at the Mission Ballroom in Denver for August 31st was booked, which proceeded to also sell out close to immediately.
