The East Coast indie pop group Internet Tears released their new single "Death & His Friends” on March 1, 2024. This is the first of a series of singles the band will release with Black Barrel Records throughout the year.

For their niche in the indie pop genre, the band has developed a signature sound they coined “indie pop sadness,” which is evident in their newest track through the pairing of bright melodies, synthwave vibes and melancholic lyrics. Frontman Daniel Louis wrote the song in honor of one of his favorite musicians, Garrett Garfield from the band Death and All His Friends, who passed away a few years ago.

Internet Tears has quickly established themselves as a rising force in indie pop and has a knack for capturing and expressing the diverse feelings from the human existence, including navigating the process of grief.
