Noise rock/industrial band HEALTH made a stop in Mesa on March 4, 2024 as a part of their Rat Based Warfare tour.

Before HEALTH took the stage at the Nile Theater, the crowd was treated to a diverse lineup of talented openers, each bringing their unique style and energy to the stage as local opener Vidrio Echo kicked off the night with a mesmerizing performance.

King Yosef was up next, bringing a unique blend of hip-hop, electronic, and experimental sounds to the night. His high-volume performance injected a jolt of adrenaline into the atmosphere, ensuring that the crowd was fully engaged and ready for following sets.

As the audience's anticipation reached its peak, Pixel Grip took to the stage. With pulsating basslines, shimmering synths, and roaring vocals, Pixel Grip transported the audience to a cyberpunk dance floor, inviting them to lose themselves in the music. Vocalist Rita Lukea’s infectious energy and retro-futuristic aesthetic served as the perfect bridge between the opening acts and the headlining performance.

Opening with their signature blend of industrial beats and atmospheric synth, HEALTH wasted no time immersing the crowd in their sonic universe. With a mesmerizing light show fit for a stadium behind them, vocalist and guitarist Jake Duzsik delivered his signature haunting vocals over BJ Miller’s pounding drums and John Famiglietti’s transfixing bass lines and synths as the crowd went wild.

But the most memorable aspect of the concert was the sense of community it fostered. Despite the chaotic sounds and the frenetic energy of the mosh pit, there was an undeniable sense of camaraderie among everybody in attendance, united by their shared experience of the night.

As the final notes faded away, the audience was left buzzing with adrenaline and awe. For those fortunate enough to have witnessed it, HEALTH's concert at the Nile Theater was more than just a musical performance—it was a visceral, unforgettable experience that will linger in the memory long after the last chord has faded into silence.
