Cannabis enthusiast and System of a Down bassist Shavo Odadjian visited the Valley yesterday, March 26, and today, March 27, on a tour of the dispensaries that carry his brand, 22Red. The tour included stops in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tolleson and Mesa.

As part of the meet and greet experience, fans were able to get photos and chat with Odadjian. He also took the time to sign exclusive tour posters and whatever merch fans brought with them. Despite short windows at each location, Odadjian took the time to meet with everyone who showed up and expressed his gratitude for the stores and customers that support his brand, and the culture surrounding it, that he has poured his heart into.

Odadjian created 22Red in Los Angeles, CA in 2019, and the brand has been in Arizona since 2020. Arizona is currently their largest market, with last October marking a milestone in their growth when the brand established their first proprietary facility. At the West Valley warehouse, they grow everything from seed to flower, and continue working on innovative strains and products so they can be at the top of their game.

The artist’s approach to his products is simple: everything has to go through him before it goes to market, making him not only proud and confident of what he puts out, but also making him stand out in the cannabis cultivator world as a true craftsman.
